The Nordic VR Forum will be held at Hamar kulturhus. The city of Hamar is beautifully located in the greater Oslo Region by the shores of Mjøsa, Norways biggest lake – less than 1 hour from Oslo Airport Gardermoen and 1 hour and 15 minutes by train from Norway’s capital Oslo.

Where?

Train from Oslo and/or Gardermoen is recommended. Then walk 500 meters westwards (approx. 5 minutes) from the train station in Hamar to Hamar Kulturhus (see map).

Otherwise Hamar is close to the main road connecting the southern and the northern parts of Norway, E6. Arriving by car, you may park next door in the Vestre Torg P-hus or 200 meter away by the big parking space next to lake Mjøsa (“Brygga”).

How to get there?

In Hamar kulturhus the conference will use the room Kirsten Flagstad-salen on the first floor. When arriving, please pick up your name tag at the check-in counter on the ground floor.

Arriving at the conference

Nordic VR Forum recommends Clarion Collection® Hotel Astoria. The hotel is located close to the train station in Hamar, and it is a 5 minutes walk to/from the conference venue.
